Wanneer je, zoals wij, niet opgegroeid bent in een hospitality omgeving kan je maar beter beroep doen op iemand als Steve.
Alle kneepjes van het vak, de snelle synthese waarmee hij onze ideeën vertaalde, het ter beschikking stellen van cijfermateriaal en zijn prognose maakt dat je geen beslissing meer neemt zonder even bij hem te zijn langsgegaan.
Het was dan ook de beste naam die hij kiezen voor zijn adviesbureau : Insight.

Hallo Steve,
Alles ok.
Hotel gaat heel goed!
Bezetting en omzet tot hier toe 20% a 30% beter dan vorig jaar.
Kamers komen beter en beter in orde (airco, ijkasten, kluizen, schilderen, gordijnen,...).
Ik hoop volgend jaar al de investeringen af te hebben.
We zijn heel tevreden van Mancloud, veel overzichtelijker en eenvoudig in gebruik.
Stijging van 50% in ontbijten, de meisjes van de desk maken zo graag hun eigen ding voor ontbijt en de klanten vinden dat leuk.
En op booking.com van 7.2 (bij overname) naar 8.1 (oktober 2017), das ook positief!
Dus alles ok hier.
U hebt ons erg goed op weg geholpen

Begin 2013 maakt Resto B&B Lewis zijn stap in een wereld waar het alle kanten nog kan uitdraaien. Voor onze B&B dat gelegen is boven het restaurant hebben wij beroep gedaan op Steve Engels. De eerste 2 maanden kwam er links en rechts wel is een overnachting tot ik met Steve aan de babbel geraakte, hij adviseerde mij en kon mij een begeleiding geven die meer potentieel zou creëren. Awel, weer boenk erop! een bezetting van 80 %.
Het succes van Lewis is voor een stuk het juiste netwerk aan contacten.

What else can I say without being redundant???
It is hard to resume Steve to one segment of hotel business. His knowledge and expertise covers all aspects and segments of the Hospitality industry.
I often wondered how could possibly someone know from A to Z, every single bit of a field? Steve has the secret! And the greatest thing about him, which makes him a unique manager and a reliable business man, is that he loves to share this secret. He must have written the Bible of the Hospitality in his previous life!
It was an honour to work with Steve and learn from him.

Steve is one of the people I admire the most…
He has the ability to explain whatever information you need in a very clear way, keeping in mind a long term vision and always thinking one step ahead of you. Moreover, he is able to motivate people in a natural way by just listening really careful and by always looking at the bright side of life.
He has an unbelievable network and extremely useful connections around him, which he is willing to share if it can help you out.
Besides all this, he is just a cheerful guy that you like to have around you. I’m very glad he got me into the Hospitality industry and I appreciate the way he coached me and everything I learnt from him. He is one of a kind... and I hope our ways will cross again one day.

Where should I begin? There's so much to tell about Steve!
I have worked almost three years with him.
I owe Steve a lot!
He offered me my real first job, he learned me a lot of things...During my experience at the Hotel Metropole, he always knew how to motivate me. He really knows how to analyse people, emphasizes the qualities of each individual and makes them even better.
He has a very strong knowledge of hospitality business and people management. He is a natural leader!
Even if he left the Hotel Metropole, he was always there for us!
I'm very proud to know Steve and I will never forget him!

Steve couldn’t have picked a better name for his company since insight and strategies are what he brings to the table. Thanks to his broad experience Steve painted us a very clear picture of the market we are operating in and provided us with the right strategy to act upon it. If I had to describe Steve in one word it would be "amazing". He is very professional and knows exactly what he talks about. Steve is a "one of a kind" type and everybody who has the chance to work with Steve now or in a near future can consider themselfs as lucky.

I found him to be consistently pleasant, loyal and confident, hard working and tackling all assignments with dedication and great enthusiasm.
Besides being a joy to work with, Steve is a take-charge person who is able to present creative ideas and communicate the benefits. Mijn echtgenote en ik hadden enkele maanden geleden onze B&B geopend. We hadden een mooie website, ons Gastenhuis is zeer centraal gelegen in het centrum van Gent en – al zeg ik het zelf – we hebben een zeer mooi herenhuis die we zorgvuldig en met oog voor detail hadden verbouwd. Dus dachten we dat onze B&B goed ging draaien. Maar dat viel behoorlijk tegen. Het feit was dat de potentiële klanten ons niet vonden. Alsook dat de geïnteresseerde klanten niet direct konden zien of er nog plaats was. Meestal hebben ze het geduld niet om enkele uurtjes op het antwoord te wachten en zoeken ze verder.
Maar op een dag heeft Mr. Steve Engels van Insight Strategies ons gecontacteerd. Hij heeft ons zijn cubilis systeem voorgesteld voor directe boeking, ons vele nuttige tips gegeven en ons ook in contact gebracht met booking.com. Dat was direct een schot in de roos. We hadden direct zeer veel boekingen. Ook is het administratieve werk sterk verminderd. Er moet veel minder heen en weer gemaild worden en alles is veel overzichtelijker.
Dus ja, we hebben alleen maar positieve ervaringen met Insight Strategies.
Zoals je ziet gaat het met ons (en meer specifiek met de B&B) zeer goed. Dank zij U. Waarvoor onze eeuwige dank.

Werken met insight strategies kan ik aanraden voor elk sales team. Met TOP-Printing kregen we een intensieve verkoopstraining op maat waarvan ik elke dag de vruchten pluk. Test cases, tips om verkoop te stimuleren,… Steve trainde ons met een positieve ingesteldheid en dit zorgde opnieuw voor motivatie. We werken nog steeds samen om te groeien.
